Chellaston Lesuire Limited (CLL) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for managing Chellaston Park. It is run by local volunteers and has a mission to improve the park facilities for use by the local community.
In July 2017 CLL signed a 25 year lease on the pavilion building and to operate the football and cricket pitches and 3G courts under a management agreement in partnership with Derby City Council (DCC). In this time CLL have successfully obtained over £130k in grants and DCC have provided funding in excess of £175k through S106 provisions. Enabling the enhancement and upgrading of the facilities at Chellaston Park. Including building new 3G courts, adding an additional changing room and opening The Crossbar and The Pavilion.
In the four years since CLL took on the operations it has enabled over 75,000 unique visits to take part in organised sporting activities.
